Monthly Raws (July 2013)

I apologize for the lateness. Because of how late they already are and because I have other things to do, I did absolute minimal editing. These are as fresh off the scanner as anything you will ever see from me. I might actually do it this way from now on to save time.

    Can someone give me a brief summary again what happens in this Triage X chapter, my computer is still down and I can't open the file with an IPad. Thank you

      It's basically just a continuation of the fight from the last few chapters. There seems to be some important back story or something, but I can't read the Japanese.

    Hey what happened to the maken-ki scanlations? Things went quiet again after release of that one chapter.

      It's a horrible situation, but I won't elaborate on it just yet as I can't do so without alienating several people. Just know that the next two chapters are being released from beyond the grave by a dead group with one active member. If there was something I could do to change that, I would, but sadly I am in the same situation as all of you. Sorry.

      People don't typically scan new series and post public raws. If a group approaches me about providing raws, I might do that, but otherwise I won't be scanning it.

    Thanks for the raws! But the link to TriageX seems to be wrong. You uploaded chapter 36 again, I think this month's is chapter 38.

      No, it's the correct file. I messed up the numbering a long time ago and then corrected it a few months ago. This is Chapter 36.

      Yeah, someone linked to an announcement about that in another comment. I expected there to be more original animation than what's shown there. It actually looks kind of boring compared to other TV or movie-inspired slots I've seen, though that would change if I put my own money in.

      Sadly, I don't think this will be coming to the nearby Indian casinos anytime soon. Maybe when I go to Japan I'll stop by an adult arcade and try to find it.

    question how many chapters usually make up a complete volume for triage x?

      Usually around 4-5, but there's no set amount. It's just however many chapters it takes to get to about 160 pages. When you see short chapters or side chapters, that's usually to get the volume page count to 160.

      I wish that was true because then I could tell you when the series was resuming without it being speculation.

      That being said, the raws were sitting on the bookshelf beside me.
